Dr. Richard B. Barry
After growing up in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Richard B. Barry moved to Columbus to attend Ohio State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in 1976 and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1980. Dr. Richard B. Barry is proud to be a part of a Columbus tradition of high-quality dental care and expertise.
Dr. Richard B. Barry has been married to his wife for over 30 years. They have three children. Their family shares a love for animals, and they have many pets – indoors and out.
In his free time, Dr. Richard B. Barry enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, fishing, and other outdoor activities. He loves being outside in nature and takes part in any outdoor projects he can.
Dr. Richard B. Barry often volunteers for several organizations including, KidSmiles Pediatric Dental Clinic, Autism Advocacy, Ohio Wildlife Center, and Delaware Area Career Center.
Dr. Alex Arango
Dr. Alex Arango grew up in Orlando, Florida, where an early interest in healthcare led to a major in Health Science at the University of Central Florida. To pursue a career in dentistry, he attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Alex Arango completed a GPR residency program at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, where he gained valuable experience working with medically complex patients and focusing on all aspects of the dental field, including surgical procedures and implant treatment for patients. He is an advocate for community outreach and has volunteered at programs like RAM clinic.
With family ties to the Columbus area and fond memories of visiting for holidays, Dr. Alex Arango is eager to explore all that Columbus has to offer. Excited to bring his expertise and passion for patient care to Lifetime Dental, Dr. Alex Arango looks forward to providing the highest quality care to the community!
He is a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and during his free time, takes part in recreational sports. Dr. Alex Arango also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Michael Merkley
Dr. Michael Merkley graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2014. He graduated near the top of his class, and regularly appeared on the Dean’s List. Since graduating dental school, he has joined the renowned SPEAR Study Club to enhance his skills and knowledge and attends Dental Conventions in Utah and Chicago.
He is a member of the Ohio Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Every decision he makes as a dentist is based on a belief in doing what is best for his patients. Getting to know his patients and improving their oral health and confidence are his favorite parts of his day.
Family is very important to Dr. Michael Merkley, and he can often be heard telling stories about his wife and his 2 daughters. He enjoys running, playing soccer, football, and ultimate frisbee. He can always be spotted with a cool pair of shoes on.
Dr. Eddie Pantzlaff
Dr. Eddie Pantzlaff has extensive experience and knowledge in oral surgery. He spent four years in oral surgery residency at University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. He is a proud graduate from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern College of Iowa.
During his time in residency, he published numerous scholarly articles where he presented his research findings at many renowned lectures including the American Association of Dental Research, the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery, and the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. Not only was he a focused student, Dr. Eddie also played pitcher for the Northwestern College Baseball Team.
In his limited free time, he enjoys the outdoors, hiking trails and time at the lake with his wife and a couple of very energetic dogs. When not outdoors, he cooks up new recipes and is always up for trying new foods and flavors. Recently, he had the opportunity to travel to Portugal for his honeymoon and be able to go to several Michelin rated restaurants.
